Interesting article, Henry. In my opinion, I think that perhaps there is a general malaise that the systems of government and financial structures aren’t working for the younger generations hence the lack of innovation. But, they don’t have a replacement for them except in the gig economy which is easily replaced by technology and will vanish faster than it emerged. In the end all these structures, past and present will collapse under the weight of their own negativity.

Gavin - see the article at the link below for some data in regard to what is and is not working. We and young people have been fed a line of BS. In addition, Phelps has done additional research that has proved out his initial theory in regard to a change in values.

I agree with a lot of the article, Henry. What we have been experiencing on both sides can best be described as theatre. However, the systems will collapse. It is inevitable. Even when times are “good” they are but sandcastles.
